Kwong Hung Seng Sauce. Thin soy sauce, produced from fermented soybeans, is an essential component of Thai cuisine. Thinner but also saltier than dark soy sauce, it serves as a seasoning to various Thai sauteed dishes such as stir fried chinese broccoli and stir fried chili with chicken. Additionally, it is a popular vegetarian alternative to fish sauce. As opposed to dark soy sauce which possesses a distinct dark color, thin soy sauce does not darken the foods to which it is added.
