PRAWN PARADISE (Goong Chae Nam Pla)

Dipped in a powerful mix of garlic, chili, and mint this sweet and juicy shrimp appetizer is perfect for any connoisseur of spicy foods.

Ingredients:

15 white prawns

2 teaspoons red hot chili peppers, chopped

2 teaspoons garlic, chopped

2 tablespoons Fish Sauce

1 3/4 tablespoons lime juice

1/2 teaspoon sugar

10 mint leaves

8 cloves garlic

Instructions:

1. Shell and devein the shrimp. Arrange the shrimp on a plate and chill for 30 minutes.

2. Prepare the sauce by mixing the chili, chopped garlic, fish sauce, lime juice and sugar in a bowl.

3. Just before serving, pour the sauce over the shrimp. Top with mint and garlic.
