EGG NOODLE STIR-FRY (Goey See Mee)

This crispy noodle dish topped with thick gravy is a popular choice in Thai cuisine.

Ingredients:

1 egg noodle

1/2 cup chicken, thinly sliced

5 tiger shrimps

1 1/2 cup chicken broth

2 tablespoons Bamboo Shoot Slice

2 tablespoons Straw Mushrooms

2 tablespoons carrot, sliced

1 tablespoon scallion, cut into 1-inch pieces

1 tablespoon corn starch

2 teaspoons Thin Soy Sauce

1 teaspoon Oyster Sauce

1/4 teaspoon sugar

1/2 teaspoon garlic, chopped

2 cups cooking oil

Ground Pepper

Instructions:

1. Boil egg noodle in water until soft. Remove from heat, drain and arrange on a plate.

2. In a saucepan, heat oil. Add chicken and garlic. Stir-fry, then add chicken broth. Add shrimp, vegetables and seasoning. Continue to stir-fry until fully cooked.

3. Mix the corn starch with some water in a bowl. Add this mix to the saucepan.

4. Pour contents of the saucepan over egg noodles. Serve hot.
