HIRING ENTRY LEVEL: Order & Logistics Coordinator (BROOKLYN OFFICE)

Company Overview

We are a family owned and operated import and distribution company looking to hire a candidate to support our order processing and logistics operations. We are seeking someone tech savvy, well organized, and detail oriented. An ideal candidate must be able to work in a time sensitive environment, demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail, have a strong sense of urgency and should be able to prioritize tasks. We will provide training. Perks include 2 meals per day and a relaxed office environment.

Duties & Responsibilities
Phone sales and order processing
Assist in maintaining customer accounts
Arrange logistics and scheduling
Assist in analyzing lead times, shipping costs and rate proposals
Provide customer service and troubleshoot issues
Compile and run sales reports as required
Help with additional tasks as needed

Basic Requirements
Detail oriented
Strong communication skills
Proficient with email correspondence
Proficient with spread sheets and or/inventory software
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), Adobe Acrobat/PDF Software
Fast learner / Flexible problem solver
Can work independently

Additional Skills Not required, but are PLUS
Bilingual (English/Cantonese/Mandarin preferred)
SAGE ERP software experience
Must be comfortable in a multi-cultural office environment
